I realize the moon is not going to be favorably placed, but being nearly at Last Quarter, there should still be some time to observe with little interference. The June Bootids are active from about June 22 to July 2 and rates are variable. I have watched this shower for years, only seeing a handful each year, but in 1998 and 2004, activity reached a ZHR of 50 or more meteors per hour!
